BLANKET Screen Saver utility  Additional Notes

WINDOWS   

     Blanket uses two different methods of keyboard detection and is 
     therefore compatible with Windows and other programs that communicate 
     directly to the keyboard, without using the bios calls.

BLANKON & BLANKOFF

     These programs are intended to be used from within other programs
     by programmers (see manual for example), and from within batch files.
     If they are run directly from the DOS prompt they appear not to work,
     they do work but so briefly that its hard to notice, this is due to
     the program noticing the up stroke of the return key used to execute
     the blankoff program, thus turning the screen off and then on within 
     a fraction of a second.

MANUAL.TXT

     The above file contains the BLANKET manual, and is stored in a 
     document format with form feeds, it can be displayed on the screen
     using the type command, or looked at with a word processor, or printed
     directly to a printer, as shown below.


     COPY MANUAL.TXT LPT1     Assuming that the printer is on LPT1.

     or

     PRINT MANUAL.TXT        If you prefer to use the DOS print command.


UPDATES AND REGISTRATION

     Remember to return the registration form, this document will be used
     by WSA to keep a list of users, you cannot be notified of upgrades and
     new products unless we have your details.
